Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night!

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! If you are fortunate to be around family at this time of year, please cherish every moment. It's priceless. Chad and I get to experience our niece's (Addilynn) first Christmas this year. It will be memory we will never forget. To those family members we won't be able to see this weekend, we will be thinking of yall always and we love yall very much. Have fun, make a lot of memories and most of all be safe.

Thanksgiving 2011

Before Christmas sneaks up on me, I figured it would be best to share with everyone how Thanksgiving went. In attempt to keep the holidays fair, Chad and I agreed that we would spend Thanksgiving with my family and Christmas with his family. Maybe on some occasions, we could bring both families together. Anyway, my family decided after many years of going to Charleston, SC for thanksgiving that they would come to Orlando, FL. They rented a seven bedroom house in the Disney resort area. Unfortunately, Chad and I still had to make the big bucks, so we missed out on going to all the parks. It was good spending time with everyone and celebrating Dad's 63rd birthday. I was so fortunate to get the chance to meet my cousin's (Sarah) twins. Mackenzie and Caroline are so cute! I can't wait to see them grow up and develop their totally different personalities. After eating such a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch, a group of us went to Islands of Adventure and rode roller-coasters til our hearts content even some TWICE! We spent a lot of time in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter because about half the group are Potteractics. We drank Butter Beer, watched singing frogs and survived a wand dual. It was all a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures.

San Francisco - October 2011

Chad and I went to visit Andy, Rachel and Ryan Lee in late October. It was a whirl wind week of non-stop fun. We actually spent the first part of our trip in Yosemite National Park, but more to come later. The rest of our trip was filled with precious memories of my first 49ers game, site seeing, playing with Ryan and witnessing Ryan's second Halloween. He was the cutest thing walking up to every door. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

My first time putting my feet in the Pacific Ocean.
We drove up the coast from Santa Cruz.

Chad took this one for my mom, Marcia.

This is the best picture we could get. It was so windy!

O.K. so composing this first post was a learning experience. I hope you enjoyed all the pictures and the video of Ryan. The Yosemite post will take a little more time to put together. There are too many pictures to sort through. Til next time... stay warm which is very easy for us.

We're blogging...

Clemson vs. UNC 2011
Alright... After much hesitation and dragging my heels, Chad and I are starting our blog. I'm going to skip all the background information because I know the majority of our readers will be our family and friends. This blog will be dedicated to showing off my husband's gorgeous pictures and sharing about our adventures whether big or small. Our next few post will be about our last trip to San Francisco and Thanksgiving just to get caught up to the present. So please bare with me while I figure out everything. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to comment and make suggestions.

Love, Jennifer and Chad
